Condyne Awards Road Construction for Phase 2 of Bluestar Business Park to GVC Construction
GVC Construction has been awarded the Leonard Street Extension contract. GVC will be constructing the 2,100 linear foot roadway for access to Phase 2 of Bluestar Business Park (buildings 8, 9 and 12). The newly created road will be 28 feet wide, with electric, gas, water and sewer all located underground and will include a sewer pumping station. The roadway will include site lighting and the installation of telecommunications conduit for the proposed buildings. Expected to commence construction in late 2021 the project will take about 6 months to complete.
GVC Construction was the primary contractor for Phase 1 Bluestar Business Park road construction. Their work included the creation of 5,000 linear feet road, 20 foot deep pump station, Leonard Street reconstruction, curbing, wetlands replication, three culvert replacements, installation of Leonard Street signal and 1,500 linear feet of gravity sewer and manhole covers.
